I've seen this money TRANSFORM the lives of Jobs Partnership Students over the last year! People have and are gaining skills and credentials leading to a family sustaining career which provides needed insurance and benefits - some including employer matched investment opportunities! #LifeChanging
"Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had earmarked $35 million in Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funds to be available to Florida's state and technical colleges. The goal was to boost the ability of colleges to enroll students in short-term certificate programs, which can take four to 18 weeks depending on the program, as the state still reels from the unemployment impacts brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.
One local school that received funding was Valencia College, which was given roughly $2.28 million and is acquiring additional equipment for its programs along with providing financial support for some students. That will go to bolster training opportunities in fields such as advance manufacturing, construction and maintenance, transportation and logistics, health care and information technology."

Facebook allows kittens, but not info on their competitors. I can share other posts from my blog, but not this one, even after using their "linter" to fix the problem.
(I added the word kittens to my facebook post on purpose. and the filename of the attached image has the word kitten in it.)
